'I am so excited to bring this training to fruition in Australia for the first time. This is the course I wished was around when I first started playing drums / percussion and exploring rhythm as an actor, dancer and vocalist back in the 80's! Now after more than 30 years working in the ARTS as a performer/ musician, dancer, director and teacher I have created exactly this course. A two week intensive training that will include my pulse rhythm performance training work as well as feature some of the finest teachers and practitioners in the areas of movement, voice, rhythm and drumming. This SERIES ONE course will focus on establishing the foundations of learning, practicing and composing with rhythm in all its facets, as well as serve as a powerful tool to opening YOU to your own unique creative expression and aesthetic as an artist'.
We look forward to meeting you in rhythm...

I see only one requirement you have to have to be a director, or any kind of artist: rhythm. Rhythm, for me, is everything. Without rhythm, there's no music. Without rhythm, there's no cinema. Without rhythm, there's no architecture. The cosmos is a system of rhythms that come in many ways: Images. Sounds. Colours. Vibrations… And if you don't get that, if you don't have that, it's impossible to do something that vibrates. You can have the craft, the knowledge, the information, the tools, even the ideas—but if you don't have rhythm, you are f****** Alejandro González Iñárritu
