'Govinda Valley extends to twenty acres of forest and landscaped gardens. Surrounding these are thousands of acres of the Royal National Park nature reserve. This is the second national park to have been created in the world, coming after Yellowstone in the United States. Here you can explore waterfalls, walking trails and the white, sandy beaches of the Illawarra coastline. You can also encounter indigenous wildlife such as cockatoos, azure kingfishers and wild deer that exist peacefully within our grounds. Although our Retreat Centre is set within secluded woodlands, you can be in Sydney within one hour. There is a regular train from the nearby Otford Station into the centre of Sydney, which is a vibrant and welcoming city with a wide range of tourist attractions, such as the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House. If you are flying into Sydney, you will find a convenient train route from the hub of the city to the healing calm of our centre'... go to site for information on Govinda Valley www.govindavalley.com.au
